Default Little Devil Video for beginners

I created these videos last year but never got round to posting them. It is a modeling session recorded in 6 parts and it is aimed at someone new to box modeling. I use SILO but I have no interface or buttons visible and I have tried to use only generic tools where possible. You could replicate it in almost any 3D subdivision modeling capable package. We didn't not compress them at all so the quality is as it was at recording in Camtasia.

2010 EDIT:

As the software version is now out-of date I've redone the videos at my new Enter 3D site here

Please feel free to leave feedback here or at my blog.

I have to say that these are absolutely spot on for anyone either new to box modelling or who feel that maybe they need to improve their skills. This gets a 'highly recommended' from me.

ive watched these over and over and you will learn something regardless of your level of poly skills.

edit:// Glen has mistitled this thread, these are not JUST for beginners. . I watch these all the time.

NoirQ: They were from before I took my 4 month break last year so 1.4 was the current tool. To be honest for this type of basic poly modeling 1.4 fine. I am still on the beta list with the NeverCenter guys and I love the latest build that I have.
