Talking Tom Cruise

Hi guys,

first post here and I wanted to share my latest model. Basemesh in max, sculpt in ZBrush ans well as texturing and back to Max for render (scanline).
The hair were added in photoshop and the color were tweaked as well.

--latest version--

Cheers
-Joe

While I think you did a remarkable job of modeling, I don't recognize it is Tom Cruise immediately. In my opinion, the eyes are too uniform looking/symmetrical.

Not that you need any reference images but, here are some for comparison in this post.

Wow...I think what would help sell it as Tom C. is his smile he always seems to have....This is very impressive!

how long did this take to make?

because if i had to stare at that face for anything longer than a week, i'd go crazy

amazing piece of work, though.

pictures like this are what makes me keep going. (not pictures of tom cruise, per se., but models of this quality in general)

Wow, this really looks great. It funny, but it's only becuase it's so great already that we can say that it's a tiny bit off from Tom's face. Not sure what it is... either way this is amazing work mate!

cheers!

Great face no doubt about it. But it is not Tom, unless you hold your hand before the mouth and look at his eyes. Move your hand before his eyes and look at the mouth, than you see why it isn't Tom. Hope you can and want to change it.
